Linda is a member of the Houston Storytellers Guild and is an Official Guild Storyteller.  She served as President of the guild in 2000.  

She is also a member of the Tejas Storytelling Association, where she serves as a board member, and the National Storytelling Network.

Linda is also a founding member of the Southern Association of the Preservation and Perpetuation of Storytelling.
