Linda Befeld is a nationally known storyteller with a large repertoire of original material who specializes in humor for adults, interactive storytimes for children, entertaining stories for general audiences and tales with a Texas Flavor.

She was inspired as a child by a father who spun tales and told bedtime stories of his own creation.  Ever since, Linda has enjoyed telling her own stories, which, in her words, "seem to appear fully developed in my mind and demand to be told."  She loves humor and is particularly drawn to "tales with a twist" found in literature.  

Linda says, "I particularly love using stories from books with children to stimulate interest in reading.  I love the connection with my audiences that I feel when I tell stories.  It is a powerful connection and one in short supply for many of us.  So it's no surprise to me how storytelling is growing in popularity with so many kinds of audiences."
